FAQ and Shipping Policies

Shipping Times
-I ship out instocks in 7-10 business days however during summer this is generally a lot quicker! I am a full time grad student with a part time internship so my life is a bit hectic and I ask you be understanding!

What is a pre order?

-If a item is marked as a pre-order then that means that the item is not yet in production. By purchasing an item as a pre order, you are paying a cheaper price to help me put the item into production. However this does mean that you will not receive the item for 1-3 months. Estimated time are typically specified in the product description, and I consistently update customers on pre orders on my instagram @ UkiyoShop.e

-Pre orders are NON-REFUNDABLE

What is a instock?

-A instock means that the item has already been produced and is currently in my hands! It can take approx. 3-7 days for me to pack and order your instock. 

What do I do if I order a instock with a pre order?

-If you purchase a instock with a pre order, that means I will not be able to ship your order until I receive the pre order. if you would like to purchase a instock and a pre order, purchase them separately. 

Do you ship worldwide?

-Yes! I ship to all countries are are currently accepting packages from the United States. My big cartel is specifically for domestic orders, howeve my Etsy ships worldwide. This is due to the different custom charges I may end up being stuck with when shipping internationally.

How long does it take to get my item after you ship?
Domestic: 3-7 business days depending on USPS.

If your order takes longer than 6 weeks internationally, please contact me first.

Please keep in mind, due to COVID-19, shipments are subject to delays, so please be patient!

Can you combine shipping or hold my order?
Yes, if you have multiple orders with me and you wish to combine shipping, please leave a note on the order. I'll refund the extra shipping cost for you.
If you want me to hold your order for any reason, just leave a note in your order during checkout with a date so I know when I can ship it out.

What are your Return & Exchange Policy?
All sales are final.
If you receive the wrong item, or your item is damaged upon arrival, please contact me ASAP so I can help you. 
However, if your item becomes damaged anytime after arrival to you it is not my responsibility to replace it and you will not receive a refund. 
All returns & exchanges will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. If you issue a chargeback without consulting with me, you will be blacklisted from ordering from me.

What is your policy for lost, missing, or returned mail?
Lost mail is handled on a case-by-case basis. If your order was sent via stamped mail and it's lost, I am not able to provide a refund.

Once your order is marked as "shipped" is it the responsibility of the postal service and no longer my responsibility? I advise you to contact your local post office or carrier if your tracking doesn't update after a certain point.

If mail is returned to me due to incorrect address input, you have the option of a refund (minus the shipping fee) or for me to resend it (with a repayment of the shipping fee).
